Just Found out about you/I am entusiastic about joining your institution JOSE DE JESUS ROMERO CHAVEZ - 04/03/2010 - 15:20

The COP15 was a successful event as it draw the world's leaders togather on an issue which still is not fully understood. The climate deterioration is the outcome of past human history and can not be reversed in a span of ten years. We have a long way to go and must be patiant to the ground realities of politics, economics and understanding.

This event has done the much needed work by sensetising the governments and societies to think on their future line of action. I can see that the first half of this century will witness a united effort to reverse and sustain the climate of earth.

The whole of this climate warming and climate change issue has been been done much harm by the bias and obvious political/financial motivations of scientists, the phony attitudes of many that showed up in Copenhagen in their private jets and the repulsiveness of having to "give" the likes of Phony #1, Al Gore, a fricken nickel for his carbon funds. Either we have a problem or we don't.

I'm a believer in fixing problems not greasing the skids of a corrupt government or corrupted scientists that blow smoke up people's arses. This is a problem that we can fix. There remains an incredible amount of "low-hanging fruit" that can greatly reduce the world's carbon footprint.

I, for one, am glad for the lack of definitive actions until such time that we know the straight scoop.

I will be really honest here and admit to a bias. The COP 15 wanted to supply drinking water to the 15000 delegates (and 3000 staff) via the must sustainable means possible. They chose mains fed water machines from my company - Waterlogic. I, and my colleagues are proud of that, and I must say that we found that the intention of the people at this conference was to put into practice the realistic and achievable steps possible to make a positive differnce.
