InfoNet Mobile v2.130/12/2009 |
| MWH Soft has launched InfoNet Mobile v2.1. The release adds significant functionality to the InfoNet asset and data management system by introducing a complete office-to-field/field-to-office solution. InfoNet Mobile uses mobile technology to link field workers seamlessly and securely to InfoNet software. It can support a wide range of hardware including BlackBerrys, laptops, tablet PCs and PDAs in a connected (cellular or wi-fi) or disconnected environment. |
This makes it as easy for field personnel to access the InfoNet data they need on site as it is at the office. At the same time, managers can plan and assign tasks from the office schedule and dispatch the assignments straight to a portable device in the field. The ability to input data to the field has other advantages, including the avoidance of double-handling data, which make the process faster, easier, less expensive to manage and most crucially, far more accurate.
