| Papers are being sought for presentation at the 2nd International Conference "Metals and Related Substances in Drinking Water", to be held from 29 to 31 October 2008 in Lisbon (Portugal). "Metals and Related Substances in Drinking Water" (METEAU) addresses these problems through four working groups that focus on (1) plumbosolvency control, (2) cuprosolvency control, (3) other metals and related substances, including arsenic and nickel, and (4) health, environmental and socio-economic impact of corrective measures. |

Papers can be submitted for the following four sub-themed sessions: 1. Plumbosolvency control 2. Cuprosolvency control 3. Other metals and related substances 4. Environmental, health and socio-economic impacts
The official language of the conference is English. The METEAU conference features 30 min oral contributions including 5 min for questions and poster presentations. To submit a contribution for oral or poster presentation, you must send an abstract to the Conference Programme Coordinator (see e-mail address below) by 1rst July 2008: Monika Schönerklee
The layout of the abstract is maximum one page A4 with 2.5 cm borders on all sides. The font is Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced. All acronyms must be defined. Equations, figures and tables can be used, if desired. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Committee; the authors will be notified of acceptance before 15th August 2008.
