EWP Events During Water Week

The UN Watercourses Convention: What is in it for European Countries? Is a side-event on Monday 17^th August 17.45 - 18.45 in room T4. It will follow up on the commitments made during the 5^th World Water Forum.

Harmonised Guidelines for Sustainable Water Management includes a presentation of the EWP approach for water stewardship in Europe. Tools creating incentives for good water management and guidelines for assessment and communications will be discussed. Tuesday, 18^th August, 12.45 - 13.45 in room K11, lunch provided.

Focus Water and Climate - water energy and climate change are linked. EWP is looking for a holistic way to address the three. This session includes presentations by leading companies that started working with these issues for the reason of business sense. This session is to be held on Thursday 20^th August, 12.45 - 13.45 in room K2.

The European Water Partnership will be represented by vice chairman Friedrich Barth, project managers Sabine van Wirén-Lehr, Harro Riedstra and Lucilla Minelli.
