European Regional Pavilion at 5th WWF

  27/02/2009
The fifth World Water Forum is closing in quickly. From 16 to 22 March, Istanbul will host over 20000 stakeholders on water for a week long event focusing on global collaboration to address water problems. The Forum offers the water community and policy- and decision-makers from all over the world the unique opportunity to come together to create links, debate and find solutions to achieve water security.

ERP Pavillion in Istanbul

The World Water Forum is also the first major milestone in the European Regional Process (ERP) preparing for the Forum. In Istanbul the European Regional Session will present the results of the Process, as summarised in the European Regional Document. On the basis of these results, and the discussions taking place in Istanbul, the European Regional Process will continue its work after the Forum.

The European Regional Process will also be present at the Forum with the European Regional Pavilion. This Pavilion will present the work of the ERP and gives European partners the chance to present their activities. Furthermore, it provides good opportunities to make best use of the large networking opportunities the Forum presents.

The ERP looks forward to a successful and fruitful Forum and we look forward to welcoming you in the European Pavilion. If you would like to be a partner in this Pavilion, please contact Harro Riedstra (European Water Partnership) at h.ri...@ewp.eu or phone +32 27350681.

The capacity will increase to 150 million gallons/day (now 80 million gallons), and the pumping facility is to be relocated on the property.
