  17/02/2009
The successful development and implementation of River Basin Management Plans is key to European water policy and key decisions on our water management for the future need to be taken this year. The 2nd European Water Conference, to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2009 in Brussels, invites decision makers and stakeholders from across the EU to discuss strategic water management issues and to actively participate in the process.

The conference aims at drawing a maximum attention to the preparations of the river basin management plans (RBMPs) prepared within the framework of the Water Framework Directive.

There will be open registration without fee for a maximum of 400 participants. Participants may register online, via email or fax. More information is available on the website below.
