Results of workshop on Earth System Engineering

  10/10/2008
Last September 23 the Institute of Advanced Studies on Sustainability organised an Open Forum followed by high-level reflections (workshop) on Earth System Engineering under the inspiring motto: "The art of dealing wisely with our planet Earth". The event took place at the Wildbad-Kreuth, Educational Centre of the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

The event brought together many prestigious experts and Professors for a discussion leading to a better understanding of the complex nature of the earth system, its physical, chemical and biological dimension as well as its social, cultural and economic dimension. Prof. Peter Wilderer, chairman of the European Water Partnership Board of Advice, is the contact person at the Institute for all information on this event.

The results and follow-ups of these high level reflections are now available on the website (below) of the Institute of Advanced Studies on Sustainability.
