Portable System for Measuring Sand in Water Lines

  11/09/2008
Whitewater Well introduces a portable and automatic, real-time, inline standalone monitor for measuring sand and other particulate concentrations in water lines. Designed for continuous operation without the need for routine cleaning or maintenance, the device provides exceptionally reliable, real-time sand concentration data in the field.

Whitewater Well's products increase dependability of well operations, reduce well maintenance costs, and prevent well contamination.

Whitewater Well will introduce its revolutionary new portable system for measuring sand concentrations in water at the Weftec 08 Exhibition. Automatically measuring sand content as low as 0.1 ppm, it delivers continuous real-time data and enables easy collection of samples for offsite analysis - providing a true picture of well conditions and ensuring that sand concentration does not exceed regulatory agency requirements. Meeting the industry's crucial need for reliable measurement of sand content in the field, the SWD-3 Mobile is the first automatic portable standalone monitor for measuring sand and other particulate concentrations. Requiring no manual calculations, the plug-and-play unit eliminates human error in calculating sand concentrations. Cost-effective, durable, and corrosion resistant, it provides a user-friendly interface, enables easy single-operator use, and conveniently attaches to a notebook computer for data downloading.
