| OTT Hydromet has introduced the OTT netDL series of dataloggers. The compact OTT netDL 500 and 1000 dataloggers are fit for service in the field and include various intelligent details. In the process, the OTT engineers have set great store in optimising the transfer of measurement data. |

No matter which data is to be collected, various digital and analogue interfaces allow connections to various different sensors. In the process the rapid loggers can process several channels and sensors at the same time. To do this, a large data storage medium keeps the necessary space available. An extra plus for measurement station operators is that the new dataloggers can be fitted individually for analog inputs and outputs - so you only need to purchase what is necessary for the application.
These high-performance loggers operate in a particularly energy efficient way with their power management system, and can be supplied at low-cost with current by means of batteries or solar power. And of course the experts at OTT have also thought of those who operate these devices. An easily readable display for a quick check on site can even be operated with numb fingers by means of a jog-shuttle. And the operating program provides some welcome extras with its setup assistant, online help and templates for channel configuration.

Using OTT netDL, data transfer can always be realised flexibly. To do this, there are communication interfaces such as RS-232, USB and Ethernet at the ready. Optionally a GSM/GPRS Modem can also be fitted to enable remote communication via mobile phone networks and the Internet. Transmission by ISDN is also possible (PPP through the landline network). The integrated TCP/IP stack that supports a wide range of transfer protocols (such as HTTP, FTP, SMTP etc.) ensures a smooth flow of communication through the Internet that is independent of any particular hardware. Alarm messages can also be configured. Ultimately an integrated web server enables both retrieval and remote operation over the internet through standard web browsers.
