| The International Water Week (IWW) will be held in Amsterdam from 29th October until 4th November 2011. The event includes the trade exhibition Aquatech and the world forum on deltas and coasts, Aquaterra. DHV will be represented at the Aquatech exhibition, at RAI Amsterdam, hall 1, stand 01.414. |

The stand is focused on Nereda, the biological wastewater treatment technology that purifies water more sustainable by using the unique features of ‘aerobic granular biomass'. The technology is cost-effective and results into compact, energy saving and easy to operate installations. Nereda presents new solutions for green field installations and the retrofit or extention of conventional activated sludge plants.
At the DHV stand the principles of the technology will be presented using a demo model. Also, the granular Nereda biomass can be viewed through a microscope and compared to conventional sludge. A specialist is available to assist. It is possible to bring a sludge sample for a specialist review.
On Friday DHV is organiing a site visit to the Nereda municipal wastewater treatment facility in Epe. Registration in the DHV stand is necessary to be included.
At the Integrated Aqua Solutions pavilion, also at the RAI in Amsterdam, DHV will present the concept of Ecocities, together with concrete interesting project examples from China. During the week, DHV specialists will lecture at several conferences on water technology and water management topics.
