| United Water has opened a national command centre in Boise, Idaho, USA, to coordinate the company's response to Hurricane Irene. United Water, part of Suez Environnement, owns or operates water and wastewater utilities located on the East coast ranging from Georgia to New Hampshire. Bob Iacullo, president of United Water, explained that each water or wastewater facility on the East coast has enacted an emergency response plan and is working closely with local officials and municipal responders. |
