Due to extreme dry weather conditions a more radical approach of water provision, particularly for the non-potable component of water demand, could bring a solution. The one-day event Easing Water Stress Through the Adoption of Water Recycling Technologies to be held on 26th September 2011 in London, UK, will explore current progress with a range of solutions such as: rainwater harvesting, stormwater harvesting and effluent recycling from both domestic and industrial sources.

Presentations are based both on practical experiences with the use of these technologies and the regulatory and psychological hurdles that must be overcome to see their widespread adoption.

This event will be delivered with the framework of the 5th European Water and Wastewater Management Conference and delegates will also have the opportunity to attend the parallel sessions from this conference without additional charge.
