Aqua-enviro is organising a new edition of Advances in Energy Savings in the Water Industry, in February 2012. They are open for 150-word abstracts by professionals who want to share their experiences. The proposals should include the proposed title, three bullet points outlining the main focus of the contribution and the author names and contact details. Deadline for submissions is Wednesday 13th July 2011.
During the two years since Aqua-enviro has organised their
last event on energy saving, the industry has continued to invest resources and
expertise to drive down their energy usage. The solutions that have been
explored are far-ranging: energy capture, energy saving devices, optimised
pumping within the networks, on-site generation of renewable energy through wind
farms and growth of biocrops are just some of the innovative approaches now
proving effective.And of course simple
efficiency and process optimisation is still an easy alternative for everyone
to practice.
