Clean Water in Kambi ya Juu

  06/10/2010
The first Water2Life project is now in use in the village of Kambi Ya Juu, Kenya. Grundfos LIFELINK has completed the implementation of the water system and with this some 3,000 inhabitants have got access to clean water. The implementation was completed as co-operation between Grundfos LIFELINK and Red Cross. Whereas LIFELINK handled the technical installation and the training of local people, the Red Cross took care of education concerning use and hygiene.

Water2Life in Kenya

Thanks to donations through Grundfos Brings Water to Life, the women of the village now have time for a job and the children may concentrate on going to school. The object of the project is that staff through Water2Life will collect money for ten water systems in Kenya by the end of 2012.

The water project will be officially opened on 26th October and Grundfos will be represented.
