Wetland technology specialists from across the globe including Jan Vymazal from the Czech Republic, Scott Wallace from the US, Carlos Arias from Denmark and Paul Griffin of Severn Trent from the UK will present the latest developments in 'Wastewater Management and the Application of Constructed Wetlands' in June at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. This three-day event includes a field trip to see several constructed wetland sites and the opportunity to meet global experts in this unique field.
Scott Wallace president of Naturally Wallace in the USA says "This workshop provides an excellent opportunity to learn about different applications for treatment wetlands, including industrial uses, treatment of domestic wastewater, and sludge dewatering. The combination of experts from different countries brings a large body of collective experience and knowledge to the workshop, which is appropriate given the widespread use of reed beds in the United Kingdom".
The event will be particularly useful fro those considering using wetlands but who are unsure of the technology. Delegates can attend a mix of technical sessions and practical workshops, meet the specialists, have an opportunity to visit working systems and find out more about the advances in wetland technology.
