| More than 400 people will gather in Paris and Marseille at the beginning of June for the 6th World Water Forum Kick-off meeting. The Kick-off meeting marks the beginning of a two-year countdown towards the sixth World Water Forum 2012, during which time various preparatory processes and events will be organised. This will be an opportunity for invited organisations and persons to contribute with ideas and experience in the very first step of the preparation of the next World Water Forum. |
The sixth World Water Forum will build upon and go beyond the recommendations and outputs of the fifth World Water Forum. Working around the idea of "Solutions for Water", it will seek to identify, promote and develop concrete solutions for water. World Water Council invites involved people to start thinking along those lines within your organisation and networks, and bring to the kick-off ideas and solutions.
