Wastewater Management in Constructed Wetlands

The event will be particularly useful for professionals who are considering using wetlands but are unsure of the technology. New this year is a "Clogging Workshop" focused on hydraulics and clogging aimed at increasing the longevity of constructed wetland systems including an opportunity to take part in a discussion group on wetland system durability. The workshop will include presentations from up and coming PhD students who are developing methods to measure clogging and hydraulic conductivity in wetland systems. These have potential for applications in other sectors as well as extending the useable life span of constructed wetlands.
