Palintest is to attend the Asiawater 2010 exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company will be bringing to the show its new compact range of equipment for simple, accurate on-site water testing: the Ozone Meter, Chlorometer Duo, Ammonia Meter, and ClO2+ variants of the portable digital analysis instruments. These 'single parameter' photometers are very easy to use and offer a quick and effective method of detecting specific chemical concentrations in water samples.
New research has found that atrazine, a chemical used in pesticides, causes infertility and sex changes in frogs. A group of Midwestern communities and water districts has therefore filed a federal lawsuit against Swiss corporation Syngenta AG and its American subsidiary, to force the company to pay for removing the chemical atrazine from public water supplies.
