Water in its different natures traditionally plays an important role as a touristic factor in the Alps. Be it as medicinal and thermal water, in the form of snow and ice or as an element forming the landscape - water is omnipresent in tourism. Prominent exponents from politics, economy and research will discuss the role water plays in tourism from various perspectives.
Another part of the event will be the Swiss Mountain Water Award 2009. |
