The importance of water is appearing ever increasingly on policy and business agendas. Water is essential to life - it is also a prerequisite for doing business, especially in sectors such as energy, transport, agriculture, (food) industry and tourism. Water challenges are growing around the world; a considerable part of the world's population lives in water-scarce countries and large areas of coasts and riversides face an increasing risk of flooding. Climate change further aggravates these challenges. The solution to these problems lies in (scientific) research and technology, and successfully implementing these under demanding circumstances.

WaterLink International, the platform for best practices and technical solutions in water management, is dedicated to providing news, resources and links to (scientific) research results, new techniques arising from (scientific) research, implementation of these techniques and examples of technical applications. Further it wishes to facilitate a platform where examples of best practice and practical experience can be exchanged.

 

The website and its related weekly newsletter bring together information on techniques, implementation methods, practical experience and best practice.

 

Subscription to the e-newsletter is free and can be arranged through the website.
